Farm'd Is One Month Old!

Farm'd is improving the way you do farm-to-table... and we're not stopping there.

Today, we're celebrating! Well, actually we've been celebrating everyday for a month because how can you not when our food systems are becoming more direct and transparent?

But today, specifically, we are raising a glass to one month of Farm'd being available for farmers to trasnport farm fresh food directly to inspired chefs in the state.

A Look Back

In the month since Farm’d launched, we’ve had the opportunity to bring amazing producers and restaurateurs into our community and allow for a direct connection between farmer and chef. From Tifton to Atlanta and Waynesboro to Ellijay, Farm’d is helping local sellers connect to Georgia buyers in a multitude of ways.

Your community has come together multiple times this month to eat, drink, and meet. Many farmers met with chefs for the first time over local food prepared by local culinary artists -food as it was meant to be.

Our launch party was a celebration for the books with over 150 members of the Farm’d community coming together at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails in Atlanta. It was a unique pleasure to be in the same room with some of the biggest names in Georgia’s food industry.

Not only did we connect you within our industry, but we also donated to keep our community strong. On January 28, we made a donation on behalf of our Farm’d chefs to The Giving Kitchen.

Supporting our community drives everything we do at Farm’d -look forward to other ways that we’re reaching out to serve you and the industry.

Farm'd Is Delivering

For the entire month of January, Farm’d has been facilitating getting fresh food from Georgia producers to local chefs. With the use of the Farm’d application, producers can easily post their products and chefs and cooks can browse and purchase the available farm-fresh food.

Through the Farm’d marketplace our community can easily pay for goods and we facilitate the delivery. It’s almost too good to be true -but it is, and we’re headed into Month 2 of revitalizing our food systems.

With that in mind, Farm’d is working harder everyday to raise the bar and meet your expectations. Comment below so we can work harder for you.
