Farm’d is a community marketplace, connecting buyers and sellers, empowering a more transparent, sustainable system for locally sourced fresh food. Well-funded and working out of the Atlanta Tech Village, Farm’d is working towards a better food system every day.
Working with a small, dedicated operations and logistics team, you’ll be tasked with a summer-long optimization of the logistics in our marketplace, using a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis to optimize the operations of our business.
Creating your own plan of action, you’ll have the opportunity to create a model of our current logistics and then work on optimization scenarios under the guidance of our operations team.
Researching existing logistics efficiency.
Creating a model of current logistics in our marketplace.
Collaborating with the leadership team to create new proposals.
Modeling these new proposals.
Comparing approaches and synthesizing learnings.

The most organized person you know. You can execute on multiple projects at once, and you know how to drive them forward from your own desire to see them succeed.
Passionate about food and farming.
Experienced in business analytics, logistics, or data science.
Fiercely independent and self-motivated. You’re someone who thrives with a lot of opportunity to excel and doesn’t need close supervision, but instead loves quality coaching.

Compensation package is competitive with the Atlanta marketplace.
Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines or to schedule events.
